About HVAC in Groveport, OH

Freeze and thaw cycles are hard on equipment in Groveport, OH, and outdoor units take the worst of it.

Temperatures crossing back and forth over freezing, often several times a week, do things that sustained cold does not. Water gets into places, freezes, expands, and works fittings loose. Condensate that drains fine at 40 degrees turns to ice at 28. Pao Card sees a particular set of failures here that have more to do with the freeze line than with equipment age.

What we do

• Heating. Furnace and boiler repair and replacement, sized by heat loss calculation rather than by matching whatever is currently installed.
• Condensate management. High-efficiency furnaces produce water, and lines that exit a building or run through an unheated space will freeze. It shuts systems down, and it is preventable in minutes.
• Cooling. Summers here carry real humidity, so a system that only chases temperature leaves the house cool and damp.
• Outdoor unit protection. Pads that shift with frost heave, coils packed with debris, and drainage that ices up around the base all shorten equipment life.

How we work

Written pricing before work begins. Technicians who show you the failed component and explain what it does. Straight answers on repair versus replace, including when the equipment in place has years left.
